DILLON COPPERSMITH
Coach
Dillon "Voyager" Coppersmith is the Coach for the 2020-2021 W&M Esports Overwatch Team. Dillon was integral to the development of the esports program. Although he was unable to attend the Fall 2019 focus group, he took the initiative to contact the EAB and offer his assistance. His passion to share his insight and expertise lead to his collaboration with fellow W&M gamers to form the W&M Esports Club. In fact, the Club was the first organization to receive approval virtually. Dillon served as its first president and even after graduation in 2020, Dillon remained committed to the W&M gaming community becoming the first Overwatch coach. Through his hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication, Dillon received an honor courtesy of his namesake, the Coppersmith Citizenship Award.
PARIS BREDEHOFT
Player
Paris “UN1Q” Bredehoft is a freshman at the University with an interest in majoring in Biology. He can be found on the Overwatch team playing main tank, and preferably, Orisa. He has plenty of experience in competitive gaming, breaking the top 20 Brawlhalla players globally. Having played Overwatch for over four years, UN1Q has the perfect competitive background.
ALONDRA BURTON
Player
Alondra ‘Alondriii’ Burton is a junior at the University majoring in Neuroscience. She is a support flex player for the Overwatch team, favoring Ana and Zenyatta, and has been playing since the game was released. Outside of the team shooter, Alondra is the VP of Minorities and Medicine, a student led organization that supports minority students on their pre-med tracks, and is currently a research assistant. She has dipped her toes in almost every other competitive game and continues to check out new releases, making Alondriii a perfect addition to the team.
PAUL HARRIS
Player
Paul ‘NukeLlama’ Harris is a freshman at the University and DPS Flex (Doomfits, Tracer) for the Overwatch team. An intended Chemistry major, Paul definitely aces the science of gaming, with two years of competitive gaming and a GGNA win under his belt. Make way for NukeLlama because his Overwatch gameplay is bound to be explosive!
MAX JAQUINT
Player
Max ‘Maxftw26’ Jaquint is a freshman at the University with an interest in majoring in Chemistry. He is a DPS player at heart, meaning he can pull out one of seventeen different heroes at any moment, should the team composition allow it. As treasurer of the Esports club, his ties to gaming make Max a great fit for W&M’s Overwatch team.
ALLEN NGO
Player
Allen ‘Gavant’ Ngo is a sophomore at the University with an interest in majoring in psychology. He specializes in off-tanks, favoring D.va and her team clearing ultimate ability. Allen has been playing Pokemon since he was five years old and later got into Minecraft and Paladins: Champions of the Realm. We can’t wait to see Gavant’s plays of the game during the 2020-21 season.
ANDREW PROTIVA
Player
Andrew ‘Rachenite’ Protiva is a sophomore and DPS Hitscan for the Overwatch team. An intended Business Analytics major, Andrew understands the power and necessity of organization and leadership as the President of the Esports club. His gaming history is vast, with a track record of both browser, competitive, and casual games under his belt. We are grateful to have Rachenite on the team and cannot wait to see what he’ll bring to the Overwatch 2020-21 season.
ETHAN VALKENBURGH

James Ethan ‘TF2IsBetter’ Van Valkenburg is a freshman at the University and intended Computer Science and Music major. James is a Support (Lucio, Zenyatta, Baptiste) player for the Overwatch team and well-experienced gamer, having started his journey with Titanfall 2 at 12 and having played Overwatch consistency since the beta. When he’s not giving support to his team on the field, he is giving support to his choir as a member of both eat Botetourt Chamber Singers and Cleftomaniacs. We are very excited to have TF2IsBetter join the Overwatch roster for the 2020-21 season!
